Role Overview

LaunchLab Partners is seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is eager to learn, comfortable with design and productivity tools, and excited to support both marketing execution and day-to-day operations.   

This role is highly operational and hands-on, supporting social media, email marketing, project coordination, and administrative needs across the agency. You will work closely with the co-founders, internal team members, and external partners to help keep projects organized, materials delivered, and marketing efforts running smoothly. 

This position offers exposure to agency operations, client marketing, and healthcare innovation, with training and support provided. 

 

 Key Responsibilities 

Social Media, Creative, & Marketing Support 

  • Create on-brand graphics using Canva (and occasionally Photoshop) for social media, email campaigns, and internal assets 
  • Build compelling PowerPoint presentations using provided content and brand templates 
  • Assist with short-form video creation (e.g., reels, story clips, LinkedIn posts) using Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools 
  • Build, distribute, and report on email campaigns using platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools 
  • Support quarterly and end-of-year marketing reporting, including social and digital campaign performance 
  • Learn and utilize tools such as SEMrush to support SEO research, competitive analysis, and reporting 
  • Assist with social media scheduling, posting, and engagement; monitor trends and share relevant insights with the team 
  • Help coordinate content inputs, assets, and approvals across internal stakeholders 
  • Support ad hoc marketing and communication projects, including webinars, internal announcements, and special initiatives 

 

Administrative & Office Operations 

  • Organize and maintain internal digital files, folders, and documentation 
  • Update tracking spreadsheets, project logs, and internal documentation 
  • Assist with preparing proposals, presentations, and Scope of Work documents 
  • Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and general administrative tasks 
  • Serve as a day-to-day operational support resource for the co-founders and team 

 

Project & Client Support  

  • Assist with setting up and managing projects in Wrike, including timelines and deliverables 
  • Help track Scope of Work and invoicing to ensure projects are accurately logged 
  • Flag deadlines, follow-ups, and task updates to the team 
  • Coordinate printing, ordering, and delivery of client materials, swag, and event items 
  • Pull basic reports from social media platforms or tools such as Meltwater (training provided) 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate in marketing, communications, business, or a related field 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel 
  • Experience using Canva; familiarity with Adobe tools is a plus 
  • Comfort using social media platforms and digital tools 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail 
  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn 
  • Team player through and through, with a willingness to jump in and support wherever needed 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills 
  • Interest in marketing, agency life, and healthcare innovation is a plus, but not required

Co-Founder & Co-CEO, Marketing & Brand Experience

Jenna is passionate about advancing patient access to advanced healthcare innovations and leveraging her significant experience in marketing and brand development in service of that passion. With over 15 years of medical device marketing experience in ophthalmology and bariatrics, she specializes in global commercialization, product launches, clinical trial patient recruitment, branding, messaging, internet marketing strategies, and developing comprehensive marketing assets to support growth initiatives.

Prior to co-founding LaunchLab Partners, Jenna led Global Marketing for AcuFocus, a privately held medical device company based in Southern California. At AcuFocus she spearheaded the company’s global marketing strategy and led execution of the company’s brand and market development initiatives, launching first-of-their-kind products.

Jenna holds a B.A. in Marketing from San Diego State University and a certificate in Advanced Digital Marketing Growth strategies from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She also serves as a digital ambassador for the Ophthalmic World Leaders (OWL) and is a member of Women in Ophthalmology.
